You'll work closely with the Stores Strategy & Trading team, assisting in the planning and execution of local marketing activities. Your role will involve recommending, briefing, proofing, and approving work while keeping a keen eye on store performance. With a focus on "hyper-local" activities, you'll raise awareness and ensure our presence is felt within the local community.

You'll provide full-service marketing support, working in closely with the Stores Strategy, Trading, and Retail Support teams. You'll be the go-to person for local marketing insights and opportunities tailored to each store's needs.

You’ll plan and execute store-level marketing plans, collaborating with the Regional Sales Team, Stores Strategy and Trading Team, and external agencies. By monitoring store performance, you'll identify and develop local marketing tactics to defend, maintain, and drive business performance.

You'll keep a close watch on competitor activity, devising and implementing effective local and regional strategies to counter threats and capitalise on weaknesses. Supporting "Own Your Town" initiatives, you'll ensure our stores are at the heart of their communities. Managing stakeholders, attending key meetings, and presenting at divisional and regional forums will be part of your routine. You'll also work with Business Development on new and relocated stores, implementing best practice launch and relocation marketing plans.

To be the best in this role, you’ll bring a solid background in commercial marketing, ideally from the retail sector. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing change, taking ownership and driving impactful results. Your strong motivation and excellent communication skills will be essential, along with your knack for delivering captivating presentations. You’ll excel in collaborating within a remote team, always maintaining a flexible approach. Your commercial awareness and project management skills will set you a part, complemented by your exceptional written abilities.

A valid driving licence and a willingness to travel, including overnight stays, will ensure you’re always ready to make a different on the move.
