Finance Senior Administrator

Are you a finance whiz ready to dive into the world accounts payable with a lens on property?

As a Finance Senior Administrator – Property, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, making sure the smooth and accurate processing of rental and service charge payments for our stores in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Spain. You’ll be the guardian who keeps our transactional data flowing seamlessly, all while meeting the service level agreements with ease.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for resolving customer queries, performing reconciliations and managing various finance admin tasks to keep those payments flowing. You’ll support our property surveyors by handling insurance, ad hoc costs and legal and professional fees. Your analytical approach will shine as you provide detailed reconciliations and analysis on accounting data to assist the internal teams, landlords and letting agents.

You’ll be logging and reconciling invoices from our monthly and quarterly payment cycle and making sure customer email queries are answered. You’ll be responsible for producing payment runs that guarantee accurate bank submissions, plus manage the team’s daily workload, making sure everything is running smoothly and is resolved.

But that’s not all – you’ll dive into ad hoc activities and project work. Cross-training across teams will be part of your routine to ensure we have the required resource. You’ll also monitor and chase missing VAT invoices to ensure a correct VAT reclamation.

To be the best in this role, you’ll need experience and knowledge of accounts processes and double entry, have effective communication and excellent organisational qualities, have a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving approach. Processing high volumes of accounts payable inputting with accuracy will set you apart. Working at pace with changing priorities at the drop of a hat will be what keeps you energised.
