Head of Data Enablement

Are you passionate about shaping how an organisation uses data, analytics, and AI? At Specsavers, we're looking for a Head of Data Enablement to lead one of the most exciting data leadership opportunities in the business.

This role isn't about building data products. It's about defining how Specsavers uses data.

You'll be responsible for creating the capability, confidence, and culture that enables thousands of colleagues to embrace data-driven decision making. Working at the heart of our Data leadership team, you'll help shape the future of our data operating model, ensuring data, analytics, and AI become embedded in how we think, work, and make decisions across the organisation.

Leading a multi-disciplinary team covering analytics enablement, data literacy, community engagement, learning, and adoption, you'll drive the programmes that help colleagues become confident consumers and creators of data products. From building enterprise-wide Data & AI literacy programmes and analytics bootcamps, to creating communities of practice and driving adoption of self-service analytics and AI capabilities, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating Specsavers' data maturity.

This role would suit someone who combines strong leadership with real technical credibility. You'll need a solid understanding of analytics, data platforms, AI technologies, and modern self-service operating models. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who can translate complex concepts into simple, engaging messages that inspire action.

We're looking for someone who has successfully led data enablement, adoption, change, learning, or capability-building functions at scale. You'll be an exceptional communicator and influencer, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, coaching teams, building communities, and driving measurable behavioural change across a large organisation.
