The role

Known internally as the Creative Hub, our job is to take the ‘what’ from our marketing colleagues and lead the creation of the ‘how’. We are looking for an experienced & excellent people leader who can bring a future facing lens to how we produce and deliver our work.

As the Head of Production & Delivery, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, working closely with our Global Creative Director, and other key leaders to take our Creative Hub to the next level. Most of the team are based in our wonderful Guernsey office, if you don’t live in Guernsey, we are open to hybrid working options, but you must be prepared to travel regularly and we can help to make this as easy as possible for you. 

 

You’ll be leading a high-functioning team, inspiring creativity and innovation, and building a sustainable plan for the future. You'll be able to demonstrate embracing new technologies and be capable of bringing that experience and know how to Specsavers. You’ll foster a positive team culture and ensure our studio (that produced 26,000 assets last year) functions efficiently. Your role will be critical in driving operational excellence and creative vision, making a real impact on our business and the lives of our customers. 

 

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a diverse team, including Studio Management, Studio Production, Integrated Production, and Broadcast Production. Your leadership will be pivotal in combining creative vision with operational excellence, driving innovation through the team. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the business, building strong collaborative relationships and ensuring our creative output is of the highest quality. 

 

One of the most important aspects of this role is your ability to future-proof our team. You'll bring a forward-thinking approach, recognising opportunities within technology and AI that are relevant to Specsavers. Your focus on innovating around digital delivery will be crucial in keeping our creative processes exactly where they need to be. You'll act as a creative gatekeeper, overseeing external production vendors and ensuring alignment with their strengths and suitability for projects, maximising value and performance. 

 

To be successful in this role you must be an experienced leader within a mature global organisation with extensive experience managing a multi skilled production team. This is a challenging role but what a difference you could make to company whose business it is to improve lives.
