As a Home Visits Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high-quality professional service to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.  You must have high standards of customer care, in short, you will make sure every customer has a great experience with us. Full training and support will be offered.

Our Business 

You will be providing care to vulnerable patients in their own homes across our territory in Elgin, Inverness, Thurso, West Coast and occassionally Moray, so our ideal candidate will be based in Elgin or Inverness. Please note that there will be overnight stays away from home required in this role.

You’ll be provided with a car allowance so you need to have your own car to be considered for this position.

What we’re looking for?  

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Home Visits Trainee Optical Assistant. These include:   

Current or recent experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment
Hold a full UK driving licence and be a confident driver

Other Requirements

This role is deemed to be regulated activity under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  An enhanced DBS and barring list check will be required prior to commencement of the role and repeated every 3 years
