Are you passionate about making a difference through technology? At Specsavers, we are dedicated to changing lives through better sight and hearing. Our mission is to deliver outstanding value, be loved by every customer, and create a workplace where all colleagues are proud to belong. As we grow our business, we need a dynamic Network Services Manager to join our team and help us achieve our goals.
The Network Platform team at Specsavers owns and develops the strategic network roadmap in collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team. We innovate, develop & maintain our networks to acheive our objectives. Our team provides support and technical expertise during major incidents, working closely with third-party partners to ensure a safe, resilient, and robust Network Platform. We continuously review the industry and market, testing new concepts and technologies that can add value to Specsavers.
As the Network Services Manager, you will lead a team of Network Analysts who act as the first line of escalation for network-related incidents and events. You will represent the Network Team at Change Approval Boards, providing change management, cutover, and early life support for business and portfolio requests. Your team will ensure the monitoring, identification, and resolution of issues related to network availability and performance across stores, corporate offices, supply chains, and data centres. You will proactively mitigate risks by reviewing analytics on network metrics using Meraki Dashboards and other network observability toolsets.
Additionally, you will oversee the service performance of global network managed services, advocating for regional service teams on continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage risks, issues, and escalations, monitor vendor adherence to KPIs and SLAs for service performance, and contribute to service governance processes. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders and third parties to optimise service performance and implement Continuous Service Improvement Plans (CSIP).
If you have a good working knowledge of network solutions & technologies, such as WAN/LAN, Firewalls & Network hardware, specifically Cisco & Palo Alto technologies and proficiency in network performance monitoring and management tools, such as ServiceNow & Meraki & SolarWinds, we want to hear from you. You should have strong resource management skills, experience in managing and developing IT teams, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and third parties. Excellent communication and influencing skills, proficiency in overseeing service operations and incident management, and experience in implementing Continuous Service Improvement Plans (CSIP) are essential.
Join us at Specsavers and be part of a team that is committed to delivering outstanding value and creating a workplace where everyone is proud to belong. Apply now and help us change lives through better sight and hearing!
