Optical Assistant

So, you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores need? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve had previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.  

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Situated in the heart of Redhill, Surrey, our busy store is just a short 4-minute walk from Redhill Train Station and well-connected by several major bus routes. There’s also free parking nearby.

We have a dedicated team of 25 experienced optometrists, dispensing opticians, audiologists, and optical assistants. We’re a close-knit team that supports each other and celebrates success together. Whether you're just starting out in optics or bring years of experience, you'll find a welcoming environment where your growth and wellbeing matter.

What we’re looking for? 

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant. These include:  

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment 
• Experience in optics business 
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology
