As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team. Our ideal candidate will be confident dispensing at all levels.

Located in the beautiful and historic coastal town of St Andrews, our store enjoys a central location with free parking and the bus station just a five-minute walk away.

Our friendly, experienced team of 14 is passionate about providing excellent service and creating a welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues. This is a rare opportunity to join us, as our strong team retention means vacancies don't come along often.

We're committed to supporting the growth and development of our colleagues. If you'd like to further your career, you'll have the opportunity to work towards your Cert 3 and Cert 4 qualifications as part of the role.

Our busy and welcoming St Andrews store is a wonderful place to work, with all the equipment you need to ensure you can do your job to the best of your abilities. • Full time: 40 hours per week working 5 days which will include working every Saturday
• Part-time hours can be considered too - minimum of 3 days per week with the requirement to work every Saturday
• Working hours: 8.50am-5.30pm with a 45 minute lunch break
• Salary up to £13.21 per hour (depending on level of experience)
