Specsavers Stockport is a long established store with 9 test rooms and access to the very latest equipment, including Nidek OCT and Nidek auto-phoropters. The store has a team of around 60 strong and is thriving. With close ties with the local optical committee, our Partners are committed to helping their Optometrists to progress in their career. We are passionate about the clinical development of our team, and as our new Optometrist, we would support you with extra courses and specialisms that interest you. Whatever your ambitions, from WOPEC qualifications to paediatric accreditations or enhanced optical services, we’ll do everything we can to help you be the best clinician you can be.

This position is in the vibrant town of Stockport, 7 miles southeast of Manchester city centre. With excellent transport links, Intercity train routes from Manchester to Stockport take 10 minutes. The local council are investing in the borough too, ensuring Stockport remains to be a great place to live and work, creating and delivering a thriving future. With parking for £1 a day!

We are looking for an Optometrist who will go the extra mile for our customers and someone who encourages their colleagues to do the same.
