About the store

The Farnham store opened in 2001 and is located on a busy vibrant high street which is alive with both big brand names and small quirky independent shops. Georgina the Retail Director is looking for a new partner to join her in leading the team in her store which had a full rebrand in June of this year. The store has 4 test rooms and a dedicated hearcare room. The hearcare business is a hub and also operates out of 4 other Specsavers stores in the region.

Farnham has a very quintessential feel, it is full of Georgian streets and historic buildings yet is vibrant and bustling at the same time. Farnham is located in the Surrey Hills which forms part of An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It was the first World Craft Town and has a rich tradition of craft and heritage.

There are over 700 independent businesses in Farnham which are supported by The Farnham Chamber of Commerce through both networking and collaborative initiatives.

Requirements of the role

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, you’ll need to share the store’s ethos. They’re looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You’ll be a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you’ll be a highly skilled Optometry professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
