About the store

Kirkstall Specsavers is situated in the popular Kirskstall Bridge Shopping Park alongside a variety of shops such as Marks and Spencer’s Foodhall and The Range. A team of 37 colleagues call this store home, including 30 retail staff and 7 optoms.  A refit and boost last year has modernised the store and boasts 6 test rooms and 1 dedicated audiology room. These are fully kitted out with the latest technology including OCT.  They offer enhanced clinical services such as EOS, DVLA, and Glaucoma monitoring.

Store location

Kirkstall is located less than 3 miles north east of Leeds. It has excellent transport links, with Headingly train station half a mile from the store and access to the M621 and M1 nearby. There is also free parking within the Kirskstall shopping centre. Kirstall Specsavers has a strong market share of 72.3% but there is still scope to attract new customers with the local area. They boast an outstanding CSI score of 280 and this is showcased in the customer feedback and the reputation they hold locally.  

Requirements of the role

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, you’ll need to share the store’s ethos. They’re looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You’ll be a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you’ll be a highly skilled Optometry professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
