We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new business in Horncastle, a picturesque market-town of Lincolnshire.

The Opportunity:
This will be a linked store, benefitting from the experience and knowledge of existing partners, whilst giving an additional Optom partner the opportunity to focus on building your own success in a brand-new store and building your own team.  The store itself will have 3 test rooms, one of these being a dedicated hearcare room.

Location:
The planned location is a traditional High Street placement.  There are two large supermarkets on the outskirts of the centre, within walking distance and a mix of local and national businesses in the town, nearby national operators include Heron Foods, Costa, Lloyds bank and the Lincolnshire Co-op opposite the site.  The town itself and surrounding areas of Horncastle have a lot to offer, making it a great place to live and visit. You’ll find a large number of antique shops in the area, a popular cycle trail, Tattershall castle nearby and the River Bain. The Horncastle market days also attract a large footfall to the immediate area.

Competition:
There are two main competitors in the local area, but research has shown a clear gap in the market for Specsavers to pick up customers in this area whilst also highlighting the current housing developments in progress which will add a further 200 properties to the area in the immediate future. The current market share in the primary catchment is 45%.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with ambition and drive to build a business and customer base from scratch. You will need to be a strong manager with proven leadership skills and be excited by the prospect of a new challenge.  You’ll work closely with marketing to build a local presence and become part of this community, growing a trusted reputation and returning client base.
