Are you passionate about professional development and looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? Join Specsavers as a Professional Training Coordinator and be part of a team dedicated to changing lives through better sight and hearing.

 

In this 8 month fixed term role, you'll be at the heart of our Professional Development department, supporting the creation, coordination, and reporting of all our training programmes. From accredited courses and the graduate training programme to continuing professional development sessions, you'll play a key role in ensuring our colleagues receive the best training possible.

 

You'll be coordinating, supporting and attending both face-to-face and online training courses, liaising with course presenters, facilitators, and assessors to ensure everything runs smoothly as well as attending events around the country. Your excellent organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial as you manage the logistics of training events, from booking venues to providing technical support for online delivery.

 

Communication is key in this role. You'll be engaging with students, supervisors, and store directors, creating and sending out engaging communications, and maintaining our internal and external websites. Your ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels will be essential as you manage the student journey and ensure our training programmes are delivered to the highest standard.

 

We're looking for someone with experience in maintaining accurate online databases, providing advanced administration or project coordination, and working to deadlines within a communications schedule. You'll need to be a strong communicator with high literacy skills, able to create, check, and edit communications. A good level of MS Office applications especially Excel is also essential.
