The role

Are you an organisation expert looking to take your career to the next level? If so, our Home Visits (Domiciliary) Scheduler/Administrator role could be perfect for you.  

As an Scheduler/Administrator at Specsavers, you’ll be a key part of our business. You’ll make sure all administration and clinic scheduling for our Audiology Home Visits team is completed in the most effective and efficient way possible, and you’ll always put the customer first. This role will involve scheduling Home Visits appointments for our Audiologist team, answering phone calls, updating customer files and other admin duties, so attention to detail is key as are excellent communication skills as your clinical team are going to be carrying out clinics across the region. Liaising with external parties is also part of the role, so confidence when dealing with people and an excellent telephone manner are essential. You may also be required to support taking some calls for our Optics Home Visits service on occasion.

This will be a fast-paced role, so our preferred candidate will be able to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and manage conflicting deadlines. You will need to have excellent time management skills and be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team. You must be confident with using a computer and phone and have an excellent telephone manner.

Our Home Visits service allows people to receive support at home or in care homes, where they feel most comfortable. In this role, you’ll help make a real difference in people’s lives.

What we’re looking for? 

  • Previous appointment setting or scheduling and administration experience is essential
  • Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Call centre, office experience and customer service skills are desired
  • Previous or current Optics experience will be very welcomed
