Senior Cloud Engineer

If you’re passionate about building scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments, and want to work at the heart of a business that’s changing lives through better sight and hearing, this could be your next big move.

This is your chance to work on a truly global scale. You’ll be part of our newly established Global Cloud Services team, helping to design, build, and optimise our cloud estate, primarily in Azure, but with exposure to AWS and GCP too. You’ll collaborate with engineering, QA, operations, and delivery teams to ensure our platforms are robust, secure, and future-ready. From automation and environment management to performance tuning and partner collaboration, you’ll be involved in every layer of our cloud infrastructure.

We’re looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation. You’ll need strong experience with public cloud platforms, especially Azure and have a solid grasp of environment management, automation, and DevOps tooling like GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps. You’ll be comfortable working with containers, databases, networks, and security frameworks, and you’ll know how to apply governance and compliance in a global business setting. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, YAML, or Shell is essential, and if you’ve got a knack for mentoring others and leading cross-functional collaboration, even better.
