Home Visits Optometrist
Make a difference where it's needed most
Become a Home Visits Optometrist
As an optometrist here, you'll take the great work we do in store out into the community. You'll meet different people every day, who need an eye test and can't make it in store. Working alongside an Optical Assistant, you'll spend quality time getting to know the challenges people face in their own home and using your clinical skills to improve their sight. You'll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration and creates a genuinely great atmosphere to work in. Many of our businesses offer the option of part-time working and you'll be supported by a local team who'll ensure you have everything you need.

Optometrist Partner
Being a Specsavers Home Visits Optometrist is a privilege - you’re welcomed into people’s lives, and you leave knowing you’ve made their world a little clearer.
Vic Khurana
Optometrist Partner
I love being a home visiting optometrist because I truly feel like I’m making a difference. Being able to enable patients who might otherwise live with correctable sight problems to enjoy everyday activities many of us take for granted is incredibly rewarding. I also love hearing their stories, they’re always so happy to see you, and it gives the role a real sense of purpose.
