Ready to lead one of the UK’s most loved and long-standing brand campaigns “Should’ve Gone To Specsavers” as well as it’s Hearing and Home Visits awareness and consideration campaigns?
As a Brand Communications Lead, you’ll be at the heart of steering brand, audio and home visits campaigns across all marketing channels. You’ll work closely with channel specialists within the marketing department, the Creative Capability Hub, and several third-party agencies, including PR, social, and media agencies. You’ll transform business strategies into exciting marketing activities that shine across broadcast, PR, and social channels.
Promoting a “one brand approach,” you’ll inspire marketing colleagues and wider business stakeholders to drive multi-category activities. You’ll plan across product areas, brief teams and agencies, and manage campaign and content production to ensure our content and campaigns are bold, on-brand, and deliver the unique Specsavers impact. Innovation is key, you’ll take the lead in the marcoms space, especially across digital channels, ensuring our content is well-targeted and creatively engaging.
Strategizing is a big part of the role. You'll define the role of brand communications in delivering always-on and campaign activity across through-the-line channels. Using audience and industry insights, previous learnings, and data, you’ll inform channel effectiveness. You’ll make sure plans are fully integrated and through-the-line, maximising broadcast, PR, and social assets. You'll also set and manage the budget for brand awareness and consideration activities across audiology, working with finance and other marketing teams.
You'll oversee managers' briefing requirements for agencies and the Specsavers creative hub, ensuring key deadlines and expectations are met. You'll lead the sign-off on content, identify areas of concern or risk, and provide solutions to the Head of Brand Communications. Your dedication to excellence is clear as you incorporate key learnings and insights into planning, activation, and media strategy. You'll continuously innovate and explore new creative approaches to keep engagement and attention high.
You'll bring tons of experience in marketing communications, a solid background in social media, PR and broadcast, and a talent for compelling storytelling. Your expertise with third-party agencies and ability to stay ahead of industry trends, audience behaviours, and competitor activities are key. Your project management and stakeholder management experience skills will shine, driving success and collaboration across the teams while analysing data and insight to measure performance. Your knowledge and experience of the marketing digital landscape means you can deliver campaigns that push innovation to the next level and captivate the audience.
