ContractTypeAndDuration

Full Time, Permanent

The role

Are you passionate about improving lives through better sight and hearing? At Specsavers, we believe that delivering exceptional eye care requires clinical expertise and leadership. As a Clinical Performance Consultant, (CPC) you'll play a crucial role in supporting and developing our stores, partners, and clinicians to ensure our patients receive the eye care they need now and in the future.

Specsavers is the market leader in Optometry, and our position has only strengthened over the past year. With this growth comes the responsibility to lead the profession, through optimising the access to our care and embracing the advancement of colleague capability, technology and enhanced services.

We are looking for someone who can support stores across the East of England. This is a field-based role and will involve regular travel to stores within your region. There will also be other opportunities to meet with the wider Clinical Performance team throughout the year.

As a Clinical Performance Consultant, you will champion the profession and maintain a strong presence among Optometrists in your territory. Leveraging your expertise in professional development and advanced qualifications, you will spearhead the clinical agenda and collaborate with Optometrists in stores to enhance their growth. Working closely with the Regional Support Team, you will drive business performance and foster store growth through your proven commercial acumen. You will also develop strategies to optimise patient access to high-quality clinical care. Comfortable with event delivery, you will support stores across your region, inspiring and empowering colleagues with the confidence, tools, and skills needed to elevate clinical performance.

If you’re a GOC-registered optometrist with commercial acumen, a passion for clinical development and experience in leadership and training, and further qualifications such as Professional Certificates and Independent Prescribing, we want to hear from you.
