The Opportunity

 

We’re looking for an Executive Search Researcher to join our in-house Executive Search team, part of the wider Talent Attraction function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on deep research, insight-led work and influencing senior-level hiring decisions, while developing a career in executive search within a complex, purpose-driven global organisation.

 

Our Executive Search team partners closely with senior leaders across Specsavers to deliver critical leadership hires internationally. In this role, you’ll work alongside Senior Executive Search Consultants and colleagues across Resourcing and Employer Brand, helping shape how we understand external talent markets and build diverse, future-ready leadership pipelines.

 

The role is primarily home-based, with monthly travel for team meetings. As we support a global business, there will be times when flexibility in working hours is needed to collaborate with regions such as Canada and Australia. Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Search Delivery
  • Partner with Senior Executive Search Consultants to support leadership searches across functions and geographies
  • Lead research activity for complex Head of and senior leadership roles
  • Build high-quality longlists and shortlists using a variety of research tools and methodologies
  • Support assessment analysis and produce clear, compelling candidate summaries
  • Create candidate briefing packs, interview packs and search documentation
  • Manage candidate communication professionally and confidentially throughout the search lifecycle
  • Build and maintain talent pools for critical leadership roles

 

Market Insight & Intelligence

  • Deliver talent mapping, organisational analysis and competitor insight
  • Track leadership trends, executive movements and market dynamics
  • Produce regular market insight reports to inform strategic hiring decisions
  • Capture and analyse search data to identify opportunities, risks and emerging themes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Executive Search team

Collaboration & Brand Representation

  • Work collaboratively across Talent Attraction and the wider People function
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring leaders and HR partners
  • Attend relevant industry or networking events as a Specsavers ambassador
  • Help represent Specsavers as a values-led, purpose-driven and partnership-based employer

 

About You

 

Experience & Capability

  • Proven research and analytical experience within executive search or senior-level recruitment
  • Experience supporting leadership hiring processes
  • Ability to translate complex market insight into clear, actionable recommendations
  • comfortable utilising Co-Pilot / AI to help support with market research, insights, and the creation of resources
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive information

 

Ways of Working

  • Experience working remotely and collaborating across time zones
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support global stakeholders when required
  • Curious, collaborative and relationship-driven, with a strong sense of professionalism
