Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience + individual bonus scheme

Working hours: Full time or part time with weekend flexibility

Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC

Specsavers in Margate are looking for a talented Optometrist to join their highly successful and well-established team on a full or part time basis. Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of experience, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the industry and the development of their career both clinically and professionally.

Margate opened in 1993 and relocated to the Sainsbury’s store they are in now in 2019. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team of 17, including fully trained Optical Assistants, Dispensing Opticians and a Contact Lens Optician meaning everyone is in place to let you focus on what you do best. The store has 5 test rooms and is fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT, and all rooms have Nidek Phoropters.

The store directors are leading the way for clinical and professional progression, making Margate the perfect place to advance your career as they will support you through Professional Certificates in Glaucoma, Medical Retina, and IP or if you would like to be a director yourself one day, they are best placed to support you with this journey.

Margate is a timeless English seaside town on the Kent coast that is known for its sandy beaches and out-of-this-world sunsets. Our store is conveniently located in Westwood Cross Sainsbury’s which has great links to the motorway as well as free parking, there are also direct high-speed trains from London St Pancras International which takes 1 hour 24 minutes.
