The store is located in the beautiful Cornish town of Bodmin, known for its steam railway and historic jail (no longer in use but a popular tourist attraction!). The stunning moorland which surrounds the town has attracted cyclists and walkers for generations and has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Not only does it mark the start of the famous Camel Trail which connects Bodmin with Padstow via 18 miles of beautiful woodland and Cornish scenery but is only 30 minutes’ drive from sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. There are good transport links: easy access to main roads such as the A30, regular buses, a train station about 5 minutes drive away and good taxi services. The store also boasts onsite parking for 5 cars.

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, you’ll need to share the store’s ethos. They’re looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You’ll be a practitioner who prides themself on their clinical judgment, isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you’ll be a highly skilled Optometry professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
