With one of our HR Business Partners heading off on parental leave, we have an exciting opportunity for a people-focused professional to join our team. You'll work closely with leaders and colleagues across the business, helping bring our People Plans to life and making a meaningful impact on both our culture and performance.
Your role
As HR Business Partner (HRBP) for our Northern European Support office (called NESO) you'll be part of our regional team who are collectively responsible for supporting, guiding and partnering our managers on all People matters.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities include, but not be limited to:
Partnering with People Managers and Leaders
- Collaborate with people leaders to provide guidance on HR best practices, HR annual activities, workforce planning & people data, and employee development.
- Through leadership sparring enhance team performance, people leadership capabilities and cross functional alignment.
- Support people managers to secure that all People policies are embedded consistently in the NESO office.
Supporting Future Capabilities’ Development initiatives
- Enable People Managers in delivering great conversations and provide feedback to their team.
- In collaborations with your P&O peers support succession planning, retention initiatives and development efforts to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
- Support People Review activities.
- Enable successful onboarding by securing end-to-end process both for people manager and new joiners.
People Engagement
- Contribute to the planning and execution of engagement and wellbeing activities in close collaboration with our Employee Experience Business Partner.
- Collaborate in the preparation, delivery and action planning of Great Place to Work reviews, to ensure prioritization and effectiveness in execution and to assess workplace satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and surveys to secure the listening of the employee sentiment and address concerns.
- Responsible for onboarding and exit interviews and feedback.
Employment Life Cycle
- Guides managers in navigating employee needs and resources, enhancing overall employee well-being.
- Work closely with Payroll team to secure timely and accurate payments to the employees.
- Ensure a proper pre- and onboarding including contract management in our people system Sussessfactors in coordination with our recruitment team.
- Advise on employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.

- Parental Leave planning
- Holiday & Time off registration and special requests
- Time registration process management
- Sick leave conversations
- Separation management
- Part-time requests
- Pension planning conversations
In the role, you'll report to the Head of Business Partnering and Recruitment for Northern Europe, Monika Urbone.
Rare or occasional travel is to be expected in the role.

As HRBP, you'll become an integral part of adynamic P&O team, collaborating closely with talented colleagues working with areas like Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Partnering, Reward, systems and data. Our team consists of members who have been in Specsavers for 10+ years, and others have brought fresh perspectives over the last couple of years. Our team operates both on-site at our office situated in Nordhavn and embraces hybrid work, offering flexibility as well.

Your qualifications
We're seeking an experienced HRBP with great interpersonal skills, proactive approach and analytical mind. We expect that you come with experience from a similar role, preferably from a matrix and/or international organisation with a diverse composition of backgrounds, capabilities and seniority amongst your stakeholder group.
To fulfil this role at Specsavers, you should align with the following requirements:
- Bachelor of preferably Master Level Degree in HR, Business Management, Communication or alike and experience as HRBP.
- Great Stakeholder Management skills and experience having a complex Stakeholder group to partner with and support.
- Experience with SuccessFactors is a very strong plus in this role.
- A good amount of business acumen.
- Understanding of key People and Organization processes.
- The person should have knowledge of Danish employer law.
- Speak and write English and Danish.

Your development
Within 3 months, you’ll:
- Be onboarded and will have a clear overview of your tasks and stakeholders.
- Gain understanding of SF2 (people system), GPTW (employee engagement) and key people processes and operations.
- Start working on some day-to-day employee relations and support the start of the yearly employee engagement survey.
- Deliver employment documentation and contracts.
Within 6-12 months, you:
- Understand full People policies and processes.
- Can be the go-to-person for employment related questions to the office colleagues.
