The role

Passionate about operational excellence? We’re looking for an NHS Operations Team Manager who’s ready to lead a team that keeps our NHS services running smoothly.

A key role in our NHS Operations team, you’ll ensure that the behind-the-scenes processes supporting our commissioned NHS services are efficient, effective, and always improving. From contract renewals and KPI reporting to e-referral setups and patient system configurations, you’ll be guiding our support function across Audiology and Optometry.

You’ll be the go-to person for internal teams and NHS partners, helping to build strong, trusted relationships with ICBs and regional NHS teams. You’ll streamline contract negotiations, manage store queries, and ensure GPs can refer patients without delay—so our stores can focus on delivering exceptional care.

Leading a team, you’ll chair collaborative meetings with divisional managers, Legal, Finance, and Contact Centre teams, ensuring everyone’s aligned and working toward shared goals. You’ll also help bring together our operations across Audiology and Optics, ensuring we speak with one voice to the NHS.

We are looking for someone with experience in NHS contract management, multiple stakeholder coordination, and team leadership. Experience introducing and overseeing effective operational efficiency in a fast-moving environment, with the ability to lead and deliver various projects at the same time. A good understanding of finance and key performance data relating to NHS services would be great!

If you’re someone who thrives on making things run better, loves working with people, looking to take the next step in your career and play a strategic role in the delivery of NHS services, we’d love to hear from you.
