As a Financial Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of our financial control and reporting team, making sure the accuracy, integrity and insight of our financial reporting. You’ll support month-end processes, create annual statutory accounts and assist with the group annual audit. Your role will also involve producing monthly balance reconciliations, managing intercompany transactions and handling technical accounting queries and projects.

Imagine being the go-to person for balance sheet reporting, providing accuracy and insight, your collaborative approach will shine as you work with our finance functions, making sure compliance and accurate financial transactions, lead analysis packs for key areas of balance sheet and manage entity packs for audited entities. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to coach and develop a Finance Analyst and engage in cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.

You’ll navigate large volumes of data with ease, making sure we adhere to polices and help build a robust control environment. You’ll prepare annual statutory accounts for our Support Office entities, assist with technical accounting queries and support with questions or queries from the external auditors.

To be the best in this role, you’ll need to bring solid knowledge and experience of finance standards, be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or newly qualified and experience producing statutory accounts. Your Excel skills and the ability to handle large data sets will set you apart. While experience in people management is advantageous, it's not essential.
