Pete loves bringing the best out of people as an Audiology Partner

Pete Mcmullen loves bringing the best out of people. As a Specsavers Audiology Partner he can do just that by building his team and helping his colleagues to develop their careers

Pete’s the Audiology Partner at our store in Winsford in Cheshire. It expanded to brand new premises in the town last year and is now an Audiology Hub. Pete’s been an audiologist for almost 30 years and a Specsavers Partner for 16, first at Blackburn before moving to Winsford to lead Specsavers audiology services in the town this year.

‘I love seeing people do well’

Although he’s just started as the Audiology Partner at Winsford, Pete is already building his team. Two colleagues at the store are doing the Audiology Clinical Support course. And he’s recruited a trainee Hearing Care Assistant.

“The best part of being a Partner for me,” Pete says, “is being able to build and develop your people. I get so much pleasure from seeing people grow and do well. The pathway is there for you to take your career wherever you want it to go at Specsavers. As a Partner, you play a big role in changing your customers’ lives as a clinician, but you also get to play a big part in changing your colleagues’ lives too.”
